April First Friday Tasting: Willow Wine Cellars (Friday, April 4th, 5-8pm), $10
Brendan and Tarnna are true garagiste winemakers, literally fermenting and bottling juice in their renovated garage in the Columbia Gorge. Brendan got his start in wine hospitality at Chrysalis Winery in Virginia before moving to Napa, where he led wine tours and attended night classes for viticulture and enology. Brendan and Tarnna met at a bakery in Napa, and moved to Tarnna’s hometown in Hood River, where they managed their friend’s backyard hobby vineyard and made their first twenty cases of rose.
As the years progressed, Tarnna completed her master’s in education, the two had a couple of kiddos, and scaled up their production to 900 cases. They’re making a variety of wines, sourcing fruit from Washington and the Columbia Gorge.
Join us as we taste through a selection of their wines! Your $10 ticket will be credited toward a purchase of two Willow bottles.
