Free TASTING WITH Lobo Wines

Come join Chris Schreiner, Sales Manager of Napa’s Lobo Wines for a free tasting on Tuesday, August 22!

In February, we featured a different Black winemaker each week, and Lobo Wines was one of our highlighted producers. Victoria Coleman was the first Black woman to graduate from the UC Davis oenology and viticulture program, began her career at Stag’s Leap Cellars as the assistant to the winemaker, who is now at Opus One. Victoria moved on to Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux, and has made wine in China and in Napa for other boutique wineries. She crafts stellar Cabernets, Pinots, and Chardonnays (among others) from the Wulff family’s vineyard in Napa.

Victoria’s wines with Lobo are all from estate fruit on Atlas Peak on the eastern ridge of Napa Valley; the vineyard comprises 42 acres at 1350 foot elevations, and given the soil composition and vineyard aspect, a variety of grapes are able to be grown on the terroir.

Chris will be pouring and discussing the wonderful wines that Victoria and Lobo produce, and glasses and bottles will be available for purchase. RSVPs are highly encouraged!
