Typically when traveling through California wine country, all the signs point to the bigger names out there, and many of those brands tend to make higher abv wine than most Oregon wine drinking palettes prefer. Unbeknownst to many, some smaller producers in California are trying to emulate a more European style and strive for acidity. We will focus on those producers and the unique projects they are working on, from Napa to Bolinas.
