This is the second of a monthly seminar featuring Lone Wolf, one of our favorite distributors/importers. Timothy Davey, the lone wolf himself, works closely with the Wasserman family (Becky Wasserman was one of the most influential American importers of French wines, and the company she founded is still family-run) to bring in some of the most exciting French wines around.
This seminar will feature a slate of wines from the Loire Valley, a region especially esteemed for its sparkling wines, dessert wines, and still wines from Cab Franc and Chenin Blanc. Timothy is one of the most—if not the most—eloquent speakers on wine we’ve ever encountered, and he and fellow Lone Wolf representative John Soares will be guiding us through a fascinating lineup of wines. These monthly seminars are not to be missed.
