Craig Ganzer is a fine wine consultant and appraiser, who has spent his career working with some of New York City’s most famous auction houses. He splits his time between NYC and Portland, and keeps some of his collection here. He has generously offered to guide us through a tasting of Mosel Rieslings, ranging from 1975 to more recent years. We had the opportunity to taste a couple of these bottles, and they were mind-blowingly awesome. This is a rare opportunity to meet an expert in fine wine, and learn about and taste through a selection of crazy cool bottles from his favorite varietal and his favorite region.

Craig Ganzer is a leading expert in fine wine valuation and authentication, with nearly 20 years of experience working for auction houses and private collectors. After an initial career on Wall Street, he moved to Zachys Wine Auctions as a rare wine specialist before starting a consultancy in 2014 specializing in buying, selling and appraising collections.
When not enjoying wine, he can often be found at bridge tournaments, where his successes include three appearances in world championship finals.
